Rick Bushnell serves as
Chairman of the Department of Application Knowledge.
Working with Dr. Fales, Rick sets the curriculum for his
department, and reviews the presentation material to ensure its value and
noncommercial representation of the facts. He
also reviews the credentials of faculty who will present the courses.
Mr. Bushnell is well qualified for
this position because he is a veteran consultant to all levels of
management. Rick has 25 plus years of experience helping manufacturers
and distributors of large, medium and small companies understand how to
profit from the ability to transform data (i.e. bar codes) into useful
information and knowledge. His
breadth of experience is especially valuable to those wishing to optimize
and integrate, the activities within a company as well as within an entire
supply chain.
Mr. Bushnell recently received the
AIDC industry’s highest recognition, The Dick Dilling Award, in
recognition of his years of visionary leadership.
Rick is a past Chairman of the Automatic Identification
Manufacturers (AIM), and served on the Board of Directors of AIM, the
Material Handling Institute (MHI) and the MHI Education Foundation.
Based
on his strong business background and systems design experience, Rick has
written several books and hundreds of articles.
His unique presentation style has made him a sought after lecturer
for many well-known organizations, colleges and universities in North
America, Europe, Australia, and Singapore.
