Class Description

The purpose of this class is not to teach a course on how to calculate ROI. Rather we are going to show you some ways to find the hidden costs that you are now suffering and then apply those costs to the payback side of your ROI equation. The class includes two work sheets and exercises as “homework” for attendees to complete with their staff.

The class is a pre curser to a more involved class that uses a series of 5 worksheets to provide a deeper level of detail about ROI. The two worksheets used in this class will help you understand whether your computer system has a “creditability gap.” which may well be the root cause of a lot of other problems. The class will also help to identify the data accuracy problems that many companies have.

This is not about inventory valuation, FIFO, LIFO etc. Its about stock movement and accuracy.

The class will:

  • Identify real, yet  often overlooked, costs and…
  • Put these costs (problems) in perspective

Students who Complete class will be able to:

  • Determine a Root Cause of information system problems and…
  • Understand a simple method to explain what problems are costing
