with the “hype” about RFID, suppliers of medical/surgical and pharmaceutical
products are receiving increased pressure to apply bar codes to their product.
This is important because bar codes are used to provide security and control
throughout the supply chain, right to the patient.
This
session goes to the heart of the implementation issues. It tells how to
determine what information is to be on the label, how to get the information
form internal systems to the label printer and how to verify that labels comply
with industry standards.
This
class provides a systematic approach for developing and implementing a bar code
labeling program with strategies that increase process efficiencies, improve
