Don Sherman is now Founder and President of
Rembixe, a Logistics Consulting company. Prior
to this he worked at IBM for 27 years where his last position was as Manager of
Wholesale Distribution Industry Consultants.
He is a highly experienced consultant/speaker with demonstrated insight
into the logistics industry, Supply Chain Management and the integration of
technology for competitive advantage. Don is especially skilled at presenting
issues in a direct, understandable manner. He maintains currency through
constant interaction with hundreds of Executives annually. He has lead and
continues to lead management teams of Distribution firms in the formulation of a
technology plan to support their business plan.
Don’s
leadership and communication abilities are based on his “hands on”,
day-to-day involvement in the technologies about which he teaches. This includes
serving as Internet web site content consultant/manager for a Fortune 500
company (three letters you would recognize), conducting Activity Based Costing
(ABC) studies along with business process re-engineering studies, developing and
implementing a methodology for the requirements definition and selection of
business application software, focusing on Customer Relationship Management (CRM),
Inventory and Logistics applications.
